Terms & Conditions
Upon completion of this form the School agrees to participate in the Cut Out Youth Homelessness campaign in 2024.
The Following Terms in addition to the Privacy Policy are set out as follows:
- The Cut Out Youth Homelessness Campaign is to occur over one week or set duration in the calendar year chosen by the School as agreed by Lighthouse Foundation. If campaign is cancelled the School must inform Lighthouse Foundation as soon as possible. Lighthoue Foundation also has the authority to cancel a pre booked campaign due to extreme weather (such as high winds, storms, bushfires, floods).
- School agrees to store and manage set up of cut outs (equipment) once delivered for the duration of the campaign unless otherwise agreed upon. School is required to keep track of cut outs and inform of any misuse or loss of items (excluding weather damage). Any items damaged beyond reasonable means will be invoiced to the school with the value of each item being $20, includig intentional misuse, vandalism and theft.
- Campaign is to be held on site at an outdoor or indoor location as chosen by the School and led by School representatives
- Target audience of campaign is recommended to be students aged 12-18 and staff/parent community unless otherwise agreed by both parties
- Agreement to complete a fundraising component as part of the campaign with all funds going to Lighthouse Foundation via the Funraisin platform
- Relevant staff to read the teacher handbook and leading contact to be supplied with any other important documents prior to the campaign including key contact details with Lighthouse Foundation.
- The participating school and students will receive a certificate of appreciation at the end of the campaign
Legal Compliance and Insurance:
- It is the responsibility of the School to ensure that Lighthouse Foundation bears no responsibility for the safety and security of others when completing the campaign
- The School should have up to date public liability insurance when signing this agreement
- If students assist in setting up or taking down the cut outs, it must be under the supervision of a teacher instructions must be followed and gloves warn for safety reasons.
- Other events that are linked to the Cut Out Youth Homelessness campaign but are run by the School must be organised with the safety and security of all participants (including students) in mind
Branding:
- Material and equipment owned and provided by Lighthouse Foundation can be used throughout the campaign on internal intranet, school newsletters and on social media without written permission
- Participant School is authorised to use promotional materials including the logo, images and taglines for the duration of the campaign within and outside of the school community
- The Cut Out Youth Homelessness campaign remains the intellectual property of Lighthouse Foundation and further or additional use must be sought through the organisation
