Be Part of the Change: Cut Out Youth Homelessness 2025

Help young people in your community find a safe home.

It’s time to rally your school community and stand up for young people experiencing homelessness - right here in your own council area.

By joining Lighthouse Foundation's Cut Out Youth Homelessness (COYH) campaign, your school can help shine a light on an issue affecting more than 45,000 young people across Australia every night.

Students can listen to the real stories of Jacqui, Mitch, Kamira, and Matt here to learn about their experiences and how quickly life circumstances can change. These stories help break down stereotypes and spark important conversations.

What is COYH all about?
COYH is a school and student-led awareness and fundraising campaign in partnership with Lighthouse Foundation, which provides safe homes and tailored support to vulnerable young people. By getting involved, your school community helps fundraise to support essential items, many of us take for granted - like a warm bed, regular meals, and access to public transport.

Why take part?

- Raise awareness about youth homelessness
- Engage your students and peers in meaningful social action
- Make a real difference in the lives of young people and help Lighthouse to continue to exist and support more young people in need
- Access ready-made resources and lesson content

Sign up your school via the REGISTER button at the top menu bar of this page, or search for your school clicking the DONATE & MAKE A DIFFERENCE button below.

Every dollar contributed helps a young person move closer to safety, stability, and a brighter future. Thank you.
