Kilvington Grammar School

Cut Out Youth Homelessness 2024

We are fundraising to Cut Out Youth Homelessness.

Youth Homelessness Matters and our school has signed up to the Lighthouse Foundation Cut Out Youth Homelessness Campaign. Kilvington Grammar School is proud to be joining this campaign and as our school is located in the City of Glen Eira we have 129 Cut Outs on display.

To end youth homelessness we are activating the campaign in our school on the 29th April to 4th May 2024. Our Year 12s are sleeping out for this great cause on Friday May 3rd.

Please join us in exploring the work of Lighthouse and donating to help end youth homelessness.

Sleepout Success

Saturday 4th May
Our Sleepout for a Cause was a great success. We enjoyed yummy soup and brownies for dinner, prepared by our year 12s. We heard from Peter and Veronica from 300 Blankets, from Kate from Lighthouse and Jessy ran a fun music activity. The evening finished with a viewing of the Pursuit of Happyness. A cold but comfy sleep in our cardboard tents (thanks VISY). Thanks to David Southwick MP for visiting us.

Cut Outs on Display

Wednesday 1st May
Proud to have our cut outs on display. Thanks to our year 12 students and special guests for launching Cut Out Youth Homelessness.
