Terms and Conditions
This Raffle is run by Lighthouse Foundation of 13 Adolph Street, Richmond VIC 3121 (ABN 12 101 549 508). To contact Lighthouse Foundation, please call 03 9093 7500.
- Information on how to enter this raffle forms part of the Terms and Conditions.
- Purchase of a raffle ticket is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions by the person whose name is completed on the ticket and the person identified as a gift recipient if those people are different.
- Where a ticket is purchased as a gift for and/or on behalf of another person (gift recipient), the purchaser of the ticket is deemed to be acting as an agent for the gift recipient and the gift recipient is deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
- These Terms and Conditions apply to all entries into and/or prizes in the competition.
- All proceeds from the raffle tickets will be donated to Lighthouse Foundation.
WHO CAN ENTER
- Entry is open to all permanent residents of NSW, QLD, VIC, ACT, NT and TAS, aged 18 years or older, from Thursday 2nd February.
- Entry is open to all permanent residents of
- SA, aged 18 years or older, from Tuesday 7th February.
- WA residents are not eligible to participate.
- Employees, directors or officers of the Lighthouse Foundation and/or any companies or agencies associated with this raffle, and their immediate families, are not eligible to participate. Immediate families means a spouse or former spouse, de facto partner or former de facto partner, child, stepchild, parent, step-parent, grandparent, grandchild, sibling, or stepsibling.
HOW TO ENTER
- Raffle ticket sales will commence on Tuesday 31st January 2023 and conclude on Monday 16th April 2023 at 11:59pm (AEST) ("Sale Period") unless all tickets are sold prior.
- A maximum of 30,000 tickets will be sold which includes 10,000 bonus free tickets.
- Ticket prices:

- $40 for 1 ticket = 1 chance to win
- $200 for 5 tickets + 1 bonus free ticket = 6 chances to win
- $400 for 10 tickets + 2 bonus free tickets = 12 chances to win
- $1,000 for 25 tickets + 5 bonus free tickets = 30 chances to win
- To enter, entrants who are eligible to participate must, during the Sale Period:

- purchase a raffle ticket/s online via http://www.lighthouseraffle.org.au/; and
- provide their contact details (first name, last name, residential address, valid email address and mobile phone number) in the section provided.
- No late entries will be accepted. Incomplete or incomprehensible entries will be ineligible.
- Eligible participants are not restricted or limited in the number of raffle tickets they may purchase during the Sale Period.
- Lighthouse Foundation reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by Lighthouse Foundation to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of these rights.
PRIZES
- The First Prize includes a brand-new Audi Q5 Wagon 45 2.0L TFSI 183kW Quattro Sport 7Spd S-tronic MY23 Model: FYGB3Y/23S in Manhattan Grey Metallic Paint/Black Trim with Black Exterior Styling Package, valued at AUD $98,479.09.
- The Second Prize includes a Provincial Home Living Voucher valued at AUD $5,000.
- The total prize pool value is AUD $103,479.09.
- The prize value for the First and Second Prizes is the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier, and is correct at time of publishing.
- The Audi Q5 Wagon includes on-road costs (Dealer Delivery, VIC registration, Stamp Duty, Goods and Services Tax, Luxury Car Tax) but does not include comprehensive motor vehicle insurance. Lighthouse Foundation strongly recommends that vehicle insurance is purchased by the winner before the winner takes possession of the vehicle. All optional extras and accessories, and any other insurance not stated, fuel, personal costs and all other ancillary or related costs are not included.
- The First Prize winner must collect the vehicle from Audi Centre Brighton:, 869 Nepean Highway, Bentleigh VIC 3204 (Dealer) within 28 days after being notified.
- The winner is responsible for liaising with the Dealer to make arrangement to claim their Prize, including providing all necessary information including driver’s licence and identification, and completing the necessary paperwork to transfer title and registration in the vehicle.
- Risk of loss or damage to the vehicle passes to the winner immediately upon transfer of title and registration of the vehicle from the Dealer.
- The vehicle cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash.
- The Second Prize winner may choose to collect the Provincial Home Living voucher in person at a mutually agreed time from Lighthouse Foundation Youth Resource Centre, 13 Adolph Street, Richmond VIC 3121 within 28 days after being notified.
- Alternatively, the voucher can be sent to the winner by registered mail via Australia Post.
- The Provincial Home Living voucher cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash.
- If a Prize is not available for any reason, to the extent permitted by law Lighthouse Foundation reserves the right to substitute the prize with another item of equal or greater value subject to any necessary approvals from regulatory authorities.
SELECTION OF WINNER
- The winner will be chosen at random by paper ticket drawn from an approved barrel, which will take place on Tuesday 18th April 2023 at 2:00pm (AEST), at Elwood Bathers, 15 Elwood Foreshore, Elwood VIC 3184.
- Entrants need not be present to win.
- The first valid entry drawn will win the First Prize as described above.
- The second valid entry drawn will win the Second Prize as described above.
- The winners will be notified by phone and in writing within 2 days of the winners being drawn, and the winners’ details will be published on the Lighthouse Foundation website within 7 days of the draw.
- Lighthouse Foundation reserves the right to request the winner to submit their ticket receipt as proof of identity and purchase. Proof of identification and entry will be considered suitable at the discretion of Lighthouse Foundation.
- Lighthouse Foundation will not enter into any correspondence regarding the competition result.
Second chance draw in the event of unclaimed prizes
- If a prize winner does not respond within 3 months of being notified that they have won and if reasonable efforts have been made by Lighthouse Foundation to identify the winner were unsuccessful, they will automatically forfeit their prize and Lighthouse Foundation reserves the right to select another winner through a second chance draw.
- If necessary, a second chance draw will be held on Tuesday 1st August 2023 at 13 Adolph Street, Richmond VIC 3121. The first valid entry drawn will win any unclaimed prize.
- The winner will be notified by phone and in writing within 2 days of the winner being drawn, and the winner's details will be published on the Lighthouse Foundation website within 7 days of the second chance draw.
- Lighthouse Foundation reserves the right to request the winner to submit their ticket receipt as proof of identity and purchase. Proof of identification and entry will be considered suitable at the discretion of Lighthouse Foundation.
- Lighthouse Foundation will not enter into any correspondence regarding the competition result.
STANDARD TERMS
- Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports limit, exclude or modify Lighthouse Foundation’s liability in relation to the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law (Non-Excludable Guarantees). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, Lighthouse Foundation (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury, or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the raffle including:

- any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under Lighthouse Foundation's control); and
- any theft, unauthorised access or third-party interference;
- any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by Lighthouse Foundation) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of Lighthouse Foundation;

- any variation in prize value to that stated in these terms and conditions;
- any tax liability incurred by the winner or entrant; or
- use of the prize.

- To the extent permitted by law (including the Australian Consumer Law), if for any reason the raffle is not capable of running as planned, including (but not limited to) tampering or any other causes beyond the control of Lighthouse Foundation, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of the raffle, Lighthouse Foundation reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be appropriate, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the raffle, subject to regulatory approval
- In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changes the result or prevents or hinders its determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, pandemics, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes; Lighthouse Foundation may in its absolute discretion cancel or postpone the promotion and recommence it at another time on the same conditions subject to regulatory approval.
- By entering the raffle, you consent to Lighthouse Foundation using your personal information to send you information about Lighthouse Foundation's news, events, products, services and general information about Lighthouse Foundation, including by email, text messages and phone calls.

- By entering into the raffle, the winner agrees to participate in promotional activity relating to the raffle and Lighthouse Foundation.
- Lighthouse Foundation is not liable for any tax implications arising from prize winnings, including fringe benefits tax. Independent financial advice should be sought prior to accepting the prize.
- The laws of Victoria, Australia apply to this competition. It is a condition of entry that all entrants agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the laws in Victoria.

Lighthouse Foundation is a charity registered with the ACNC and is licenced to undertake fundraising in the states of Victoria (declaration number 62428), SA (licence number CCP4270), WA (licence number CC23343), NSW (charitable fundraising number CFN/26446) and holds specific permits for conducting this raffle in the following jurisdictions:
NSW Permit number: GOCAU/2489, VIC Permit number: 10596/22, ACT Permit number: ACT R 23/00002.1, SA Permit number: M14347.
This fundraising activity (raffle) is permitted in the jurisdictions of QLD, TAS, NT abiding by Victorian charitable collections licencing, and gaming permit conditions.
